Admission Procedure for Nri / Overseas STudents

 

 
Indian Students NRI/OVERSEAS STUDENTS

Admissions are open for Grades 1 to 10 for the academic session.

The new session commences in early June for all classes.

Documents Required For NRI / Overseas Students

NRI / Overseas students applying to Amber Valley Residential School are required to fill in the Application form, fill, scan and e-mail it to the school with scanned copies of the list of documents mentioned below to admissions@ambervalleyschool.org.

Originals should be mailed/couriered to the school along with a Draft for US$10 favoring “Amber Valley Residential School” payable at Chikmagalur, Karnataka, India.

List of documents required for NRI / Overseas students seeking admission to AVRS is:

  1. Copy of passport and visa.
  2. Registration proof from the Indian Embassy.
  3. School leaving certificate from the previous school.
  4. Character certificate from the previous school
  5. One certified true copy each of the latest School Reports (in English) of the last three school years;
  6. Pay Order or Bank Draft for the amount mentioned above
  7. Certificates of Merit if any
  8. One attested copy of original birth certificate of child.

The Indian Consulate requires International students coming to India to furnish the following documents:

  1. Valid Passport and Student Visa - Regular or Provisional
  2. Confirmed letter of acceptance or a provisional admission certificate from Amber Valley Residential School
  3. Financial statements as proof of availability of sufficient funds for the duration of studies in India
  4. Health certificate and AIDS-free certificate
  5. Information regarding customs and baggage rules is available with the Indian diplomatic missions abroad. Students are advised to consult these rules before coming to India

NRI / Overseas students are requested to contact the nearest Indian diplomatic mission for complete information related to travel, health, and other essential documents required.
