DORMITORIES
The dormitories are user friendly, divided into four wings, housing a group of 24 children who share a central living space. Each wing is further divided into smaller semi - independent modules of eight with cheerful wooden bunk beds and colorful accessories. This effective social grouping promotes bonding and security especially among the younger children.
Comfortable bunk beds with large storage drawers and lockers are provided to each child. The concepts of sharing, individual privacy, and responsibility are lessons learnt in the informal atmosphere of the dormitories. Dormitory life has a place for the individual, close group of friends and a place for community living.
- Boys and Girls have separate Dormitory buildings
- Both dorms have hot and cold running water and electricity.
- Dorms are well connected to all the other facilities in the school through Intercoms and Microphones
- Student records pertinent to each child are maintained on the Computer
- Board games such as Pictionary, Carrom, Scrabble and Monopoly are provided for relaxation.
- Each Dormitory also has its own Television set, and movies are shownduring weekends. Students are allowed to watch TV programmes under supervision
