DINING & TUCK SHOP
The AVRS dining hall is the venue for day-to day dining, where students and Faculty eat together and it can seat more than 400 students. The main dining area is well ventilated and spacious with delightfully arranged covered and semi-covered eating areas.
The state-of-art kitchens are equipped with dispensers, hot and cold counters which meet international hygiene standards. They are designed for streamlined food preparation, and offer wholesome fare five times a day - three main meals, a mid-afternoon snack, and tea treats.
Students are instructed on dining etiquette and each table has a teacher seated with the students to monitor the eating habits of the children and ensure that no wastage of food occurs.
Meals are planned by a qualified nutritionist and include all food types - proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, etc - in the correct proportion. The food is planned as per the age of the students, and menus are prepared keeping in mind Indian and global food habits.
- Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian food are prepared in separate kitchens
- In-house bakery for scrumptious biscuits and fresh bread baked everyday
- The Tuck shop stocks "fun eats" like chips, chocolates and biscuits and is opened on weekends
- All meals are planned by a qualified nutritionist to ensure well-balanced meals
