Amber Valley's first program was performed on 15th August, 2004 by the first group of 102 students. Dance, Music, Poetry, Stories - powerful ideas, perceptions and language skills, everything was given a space on the stage. The children came up with a wonderful show on Independence day.

Students went on a fun trip to Ratnagiri Bores and spent a whole day at the Bore sketching nature and playing simple games. The Train ride around Ratnagiri Bore fascinated the children and teachers alike.

The Forest trip to Muthodi brought learning out of the classroom. This trip proved to be an immense learning process . On returning, the children began exploring their classroom lessons in multiple dimensions.

In September 2004, students of Grades IV, V, VI and VII went on a nature excursion to Mulaingiri with Mr. Girish, the Wildlife Warden. Learning about the mountains, climbing them and becoming a part of nature was an exhilarating experience for the students and teachers of Amber Valley.

In the year 2004, festivals were celebrated with gaiety and fervour. India being a land of festivals and many religions, festivals like Onam, Raksha Bandhan, Ganesh Chaturthi and Christmas were all celebrated at Amber Valley. The importance of the Festivals was explained to the children and special meals were organized during the festivals.
