YOGA
Yoga forms an important part of the curriculum at AVRS. A healthy mind is as essential as a healthy body. A qualified Yoga instructor conducts 45-minute classes twice a week, teaching asanas to improve eyesight, memory and concentration. Every morning students attend Yoga class for breathing exercises and Suryanamaskars. Special Yoga Therapy classes are arranged to treat individual health disorders (such as asthma).

Fifteen minutes of quiet introspection at sunset is a stress-buster both for students and faculty. Asthachal allows everyone to experience peace and silence. White is the color of peace, and during Asthachal students wear white uniforms and stay silent for 15 minutes.
