CLASSROOMS
Each sizeable (650-700 sq.ft), well-ventilated classroom allows the AVRS hands-on innovative teaching methodology to be facilitated easily and is designed to stimulate mental alertness and improve concentration.

The classroom is a 'multiple activity zone' offering both indoor and outdoor environment with french windows and open patios. Students are allowed to personalize this space by using the courtyard walls for self-expression - from graffiti to collages - fostering a sense of group identity. This unique concept in classroom design lends itself to imaginative teaching and project work.

The room has only one "fixed-use" area meant for the computers and instructional material -applying the concept of multi-purpose space in the classrooms too. Primary classrooms are bright and colorful, with attached rest rooms and comfortable mattresses for playing and sleeping. All classrooms have open lockers for books.

  • Classrooms are spacious and airy, accommodating not more than 25 children
  • Multi-activity zones within the classroom allow students and teachers to innovate
  • Each classroom has an attached open Patio allowing for self-expression in various forms
  • Computers in each class allow for intranet and internet connectivity and facilities for Internet research and viewing of multimedia CDs
  • Books are available to students to relax during free time
  • Board games are available for use during weekends and during Club time
