OUR NATURE INTIATIVE
Chikmagalur is blessed with nature's bounty. AVRS believes that its students too should establish a bond with nature and learn to appreciate it to its fullest. Our unique curriculum makes nature an inherent part and is built around it. The Wildlife Warden too is on our guest faculty and has
contributed several ideas on nature activities during formation of the curriculum at AVRS.

Our 40-acre campus is home to a variety of animal life - the children learn about preserving and living with nature within the campus itself. Treating nature with respect and conserving precious resources like water and electricity, recycling and reuse of waste, etc, are intended to be a part of every AVRS student's mindset.

Regular treks, nature walks, tree-plantation and camping activities both inside and outside the campus help children get closer to nature as part of our education process. At AVRS, nature is a teacher, second to none, bringing a treasure trove of knowledge to each child.
